  2. Women's Appreciation Month: Hidden Figures

    Each year, Women’s History Month is observed in March. Join us for an evening of film and discussion. The film will help raise cultural awareness and celebrate Women’s Appreciation Month. After the film, “Hidden Figures”, there will be a short discussion. Recognition will be given to the Hidden Figures that reside, work and play in our community.   1. Tierra Mestiza Ballet Folkorico

    March 6, 2020, 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM @ Blackmon Community Center

    Learn about the history and culture of Mexican folklorico dancing! In this beginner class, students will be taught basic footwork and skirt work. Students will need to bring hard-soled shoes. More details regarding costume and a end of year performance will be covered in class. Registration is for the entire semester and includes a T-shirt. Classes are broken up into 2 levels. The 6pm class is for beginner students, and the 7:15pm class is for intermediate/advanced students. Student level is determined by instructor. Pre-Registration Required!
