Have you ever wanted to learn folklorico, Mexican folk dancing? Would you like to learn cultural traditions and history of Mexico while burning calories? Are you ages 15 & up? Well, this is your opportunity! First-time Folklorico is geared to beginner-level older students(ages 15&up) that have wanted to learn Mexican folklorico dance, but never had a chance. This intensive class will review basic footwork, body posture, and skirt work. Participants should bring hard-soled shoes with a heel. Just keep movin'! Join these extremely popular exercise sessions designed especially for those with mobility issues or who have difficulty standing while exercising. Slow stretches and comfortable balance exercises, while seated or in contact with a chair, will help tone and strengthen muscles to increase mobility and flexibility. gradual use of hand weights and stretch bands is also incorporated. Easily adaptable for those with physical limitations.

Using special breathing techniques and slow, precise physical movements, Tai Chi promotes vitality, balance and strength. It can also help curtail arthritis, respiratory disease and high blood pressure.

Cumin or cinnamon? Garlic or ginger? Chef Rick will help your make the right choices in using common and not-so-common spices and herbs. Fresh or dried? He will share the answers and pique your interest about new, trending choices. Adding spices to your diet has a plethora of benefits and because they are so flavorful they make it easier to cut back on less-healthy ingredients. Dishes, using plenty of great spices, will be made in this hands-on course. Taste testing is a must.
