The next Temple Fire Academy will begin January 20, 2020.

Please turn in the completed application and payment (cash, check or credit card- Visa, Mastercard, or Discover) to the Central Fire Station located at 210 N. 3rd St. Temple, TX 76501.

The curriculum is designed for individuals to obtain certification through the Texas Commission on Fire Protection as a Structural Firefighter, as well as certification through the Texas Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic. 

Applicants must complete an application packet to be eligible. Applications will be available by November 1st, 2019.

The packet consists of the following: 

  •     Personal Data Sheet
  •     Physical Evaluation Form
  •     Application for a copy of Driver Record
  •     Criminal History
  •     Drug Screening
