What you CAN recycle:
Mixed Paper: Newspaper, magazines, office paper, mail (junk and personal), phone books, cardboard, paper towel/toilet paper/wrapping paper cores, detergent boxes, flyers, wrapping paper (no foil or plastic wrap)
Pasteboard Boxes: Food and Kleenex boxes (remove plastic liner), shoe boxes, soda and beer cartons (no food-soiled paper, please!)
Plastic Containers:Most plastics #1 through #7. Beverage containers, such as soda bottles, water bottles, and milk jugs. Food containers and detergent bottles. Labels and lids are okay. All plastics must be rinsed clean. No plastic bags or Styrofoam.
Metal: Tin and aluminum cans, steel cans, pet food cans. Labels are okay. Please empty and rinse. NO aluminum foil or pie plates.
What you CAN'T recycle
NO plastic bags (shopping or animal food bags)
NO aluminum foil or pie plates
NO glass (bottles, Pyrex, light bulbs, or mirrors)
NO aerosol cans, paint cans, motor oil, antifreeze, syringes
NO plastic toys
NO plastic lawn furniture or tubs
NO scrap metal (pots & pans, lawn chairs, pipe, etc
NO wire, rope, chain, fishing line, or garden hose
NO yard waste including grass clippings, leaves, and all wood types NO containers or paper products with food residue (napkins, paper plates, paper towels, diapers, etc)
