New Service


In order to establish utility service, the City of Temple requires the following:


RESIDENTIAL / PERSONAL ACCOUNTS:
-Valid Driver’s License or Picture ID
-Social Security Card (SSN Privacy Policy)
-Service Deposit (a letter of credit may be accepted)
-Lease Agreement, if applicable
Customer Request for New Service Form- Resident 


BUSINESS/COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS:
-Taxpayer ID #
-Lease Agreement, if applicable
Customer Request for New Service Form- Business


This information can be brought to the Utility Business Office, faxed to 254-298-5263 or emailed to .


All requests for service should be received at least one business day prior to the requested service start date. If the water service is currently turned off, the new account holder must be present at the time of connection.
