In order to establish utility service, the City of Temple requires the following:

• Driver’s License
• Social Security Card (SSN Privacy Policy)
• Service Deposit  (letter of credit may be accepted)

 

Customers are required to come to the Utility Billing Office to establish service unless they have a current, active account with the City of Temple.  Customers are asked to fill out the Customer Request for New Service Form.  A faxed copy of the information requested may be accepted.  You may also email the information to . 

 

 

 

Service should be requested and information received at least one business day prior to service start date.  If the water service is currently off, the new account holder must be present at the time of connection.
