In order to facilitate a greater distribution of the city’s bid opportunities we have joined DemandStar.com, the leading government purchasing network on the Internet. Vendors are notified of bid opportunities by e-mail or fax 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

I encourage you to participate in this new system of electronic purchasing. Membership in the DemandStar.com network offers your company a number of important benefits.

The City of Temple will encourage other purchasing agencies in our region to participate in the DemandStar.com network.

You may register on-line at www.DemandStar.com or by requesting a faxed registration form by calling (800) 771-1712.

The annual membership fee is $30 per county.

Please note: As of January 1, 2001, the City of Temple no longer sends unsolicited bid notices or documents.

Participation in the DemandStar.com system is not a necessary requirement for doing business with the City of Temple.

You will still be able to get bid information at no cost by monitoring the Temple Daily Telegram on Sundays for our legal ads or searching our website for new information. However, if you choose not to register with DemandStar.com, you will not receive automatic notification of bid opportunities.
