The Utility Business Office  is responsible for establishing and maintaining utility accounts, processing utility bills and the collection of utility receivables for the City of Temple. Our staff is committed to providing accurate monthly bills and professional customer service.  We strive to make it easier to do business with the City of Temple.

Strategic Accomplishments 

• Implemented an Interactive Voice Response telephone system allowing customers access to account information and payments options 24/7
• Implemented Recurring Credit Card payments on our online payment site

• Added the ability to receive EFT payments from customers’ banking online bill pay service

• Continue to review and update daily processes and procedures and seek ways to improve both
