Overview
  • Responsible for support, maintenance and management of all City Computing Servers and Databases to support the delivery of applications to City employees and citizens.
  • Ensure the highest available uptime for all servers that support critical applications. Ensure systems are updated, patched and monitored to create a healthy data center environment.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, design, analysis, optimization, modeling, replication, management, security, monitoring and disaster recovery of all Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server databases.
  • Ensure the highest available uptime for all servers that support critical applications.
  • The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.
