How to Order
||The City of Temple Parks and Leisure Services Department maintains 60 parks and recreation areas, totaling more than 700 acres. The Memorial Tree Program is your opportunity to pay a long-lasting tribute to an individual or occasion by planting a tree in his or her honor. At the same time, your donation will enhance your favorite park and support the Temple Parks Foundation. Commemorate a graduation, birth, passing, wedding, anniversary, or any special recognition.
Parks and Leisure Services staff will work with you to select a Memorial Tree that will adhere to the tree-planting plan adopted by the City of Temple. Species of trees planted will be determined based upon planting location and type of tree needed for the chosen park site.
A custom-made plaque will be installed at your memorial tree site. Markers are made with durable, outdoor rated materials to ensure a lasting recognition for many years to come.
To order a Memorial Tree, please fill out the order form and submit it, along with your payment of $200 payable to Temple Parks Foundation, P.O. Box 1586, Temple, Texas 76503.
