  1. Women's Self Defense

    January 14, 6:30 PM - February 25, 7:15 PM @ Kennedy Powell- Gym

    When a woman learns self-defense skills, it reduces her chances of being a victim of violent crime. Learn to use Tae Kwon Do as a mean of self-defense while also getting in a good work out. By the end of the 6 week, 6 class session participants will have more self confidence and a positive mental attitude. Instructor: Bill Smith.

    February 2, 10:00 AM - March 31, 4:00 PM @ Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum

    The Railroad & Heritage Museum’s exhibit will illustrate how black Americans contributed to America's great rail systems.

Youth Programs

  1. Little Explorers

    February 20, 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM @ Van will leave from Gober Party House and travel to Mayborn Museum in Waco, Tx

    Bring your little explorer to engage, explore, and enjoy the Mayborn Museum in Waco. Children will enjoy the hands on and interactive learning activities that the museum has to offer. Transportation and parents are required to attend. There will be a lunch stop on the way back to Temple, but please understand that lunch cost is not included in program cost. Space is extremely limited!

  2. Youth Tae Kwon Do

    February 20, 5:00 PM - 5:45 PM @ Kennedy Powell Elementary School

    Tae Kwon Do is an ancient Martial Art that originated in Korea. Training in Tae Kwon Do is more than merely physical activity. Tae Kwon Do for youth increases attention span, builds confidence, learns about discipline, develops respect, and acquires leadership skills. This is a six week, 12 class session.
