  1. Red Cross Lifeguard Certification

    January 2, 9:00 AM - January 4, 6:00 PM @ Register at Sammons Park Indoor Pool. Classes will be held at Temple High School Swim Center.

    The purpose of the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course is to provide entry-level lifeguard participants with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies and to provide care for breathing and cardiac emergencies, injuries and sudden illnesses until emergency medical services (EMS) personnel take over. Cost includes books, pocket masks, and certification. Instructor: Keith Dawson. Location: Temple High School Swim Center. Register at Sammons Park Indoor Pool.
