    Full combat jousting, fire juggling, Scottish bagpipes, comedy and much more! These are just a few of the things that make the Scarborough Renaissance Festival unforgettable. Not to mention the 200+ village shops and food fit for a king! Space is extremely limited. Cost includes transportation and entry ticket. Food and shopping are on your own. Van will depart from Gober Party House promptly at 7:30 a.m.

Aquatics

  1. Red Cross Lifeguard Course

    April 24, 5:00 PM - April 26, 8:00 PM @ Class will be held at the Temple High School Swim Center located at: 412 N 31st St Temple, TX

    Become a Lifeguard! Gain the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognize, respond to and care for aquatic and land emergencies until EMS takes over. This is a blended learning course so you will need to register early and complete the online portion before class starts. There is a $35 fee that each student will need to pay the American Red Cross in addition to the Course fee of $175. Expect the online course to take 8 hours. You must register at Sammons Indoor Pool at least ten days before class begins. Sammons Indoor Pool is located at: 2220 W Ave D Temple, TX

    Folklorico dancing is a great way to promote cultural awareness through music and dance. Participants will learn the fine artistic traditions of the Mexican culture in a fun and positive environment. The program is divided up into 3 classes by age and skill level. Students will participate in a Cinco de Mayo performance to be scheduled by the instructor.

    Join this girls-only enrichment group to become more self confident, improve self esteem while learning new skills in this non-threatening environment. This group will allow your daughter a safe and fun place to just be girls! We will develop new friendships and enjoy the time we spend together. Each week will feature different activities like cooking, arts, crafts, jewelry making, etc. The club meets every Wednesday afternoon.
