    Folklorico dancing is a great way to promote cultural awareness through music and dance. Participants will learn the fine artistic traditions of the Mexican culture in a fun and positive environment. Students will participate in performances to be scheduled by the Instructor.   5. Tiny Tumblers

    February 15, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Gober Party House

    Join in for a terrific time at Tiny Tumblers! Participants will learn to jump, flip and execute basic movements of gymnastics. This class is designed to develop movement flexibility, coordination, and creativity using developmentally appropriate activities and exercises for beginner students. Pre-Registration Required

    February 15, 5:30 PM - 6:15 PM @ Gober Party House

    Taijutsu relies on naturally efficient body movement, rather than strength or speed. Students use these methods to learn to successfully deal with various self defense situations. Learn the skills to move your body naturally and efficiently by leaping, tumbling, and climbing in a fun atmosphere. Previous martial arts experience is not required. Pre-Registration Required

  7. Learn, Grow, Eat & Go

    February 16, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM @ Blackmon Community Center

    Learn, Grow, Eat, and Go is part of the Junior Master Gardener program which grows good kids through an interdisciplinary program combining academic achievement, gardening, nutrient-dense food experiences, physical activity, and school & family engagement. Learn how to grow your own garden, taste the great things that come from your garden, and strengthen your brains and bodies with physical activity. Pre-Registration Required

  8. Positively Pink Girls Club

    February 17, 4:15 PM - 6:00 PM @ Blackmon Community Center

    Join this GIRLS-ONLY enrichment group! Participants will become more self confident and improve self esteem, while learning new skills in this non-threatening environment. This group allows your daughter a safe and fun place to be girls! They will develop new friendships and enjoy time spent together. Each week will feature different activities like cooking, arts & crafts, jewelry making, etc. The club meets every Wednesday afternoon. Pre-Registration Required

    Ninja Kids teaches the basics of Bujinkan Martial Arts in a fun environment. Students learn basic moves that correspond with the character-building values like respect and self-discipline. This is a 1 month session and class meets every Wednesday. Pre-Registration Required

    Learn to step, dance and sing! Have fun and gain self-discipline as you volunteer for your community by performing at public events, nursing home visits and parades. Pre-Registration Required

    Create your own path…..don’t follow, be the leader! Learn to be proud of yourself, know your worth, and learn skills that will last you a lifetime. We will also talk about bullying and how it affects you, what you can do, and how you can be the difference. This is going to be a great Friday night of fun with friends!     February is Dental Health Month and it is very important to teach children about dental health at an early age. A local dentist will teach your child about their teeth and how to keep them healthy. There will be an arts and crafts project to follow the presentation. Preregistration is required.

    Who likes pancakes? Celebrate National Pancake Day with a pancake lunch at Gober Party House. Enjoy pancakes and lots of flavorful toppings, mix-ins, and syrups. Participants will get to meet and socialize with new friends and enjoy a craft.

    Temple Parks and Recreation is partnering with local restaurants to host a character breakfast featuring a variety of early morning snacks and activities for children ages preschool-7 years.
