    July 24, 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ Sammons Community Center

    Howdy y'all! Come scoot your boots and tap your feet to great music from local country and western bands on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month. Join us in the cool, comfortable ballroom and bring a favorite finger food to share at intermission. We will provide cold drinks and coffee.

  2. Scott & White Health Plan Hot Summer Sounds-Newsboyz Party Band

    July 25, 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM @ Miller Park

    It’s one of Temple’s best summer traditions—Scott & White Heath Plan presents the 16th Annual Hot Summer Sounds Free summer concert series with the warm sounds of live music filling the air at Miller Park. Hot Summer Sounds provides a unique variety of musical styles that will satisfy music lovers of all persuasions. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, friends and neighbors for a free evening of music and relaxation!

    July 28, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM @ Gober Party House

    Sauté, simmer, slice, bake, and blend to create delicious foods! Campers will create an assortment of dishes and desserts as well as learn all about cooking safety and reading recipes.

  4. Throwback Thursday Free Summer Concert

    July 31, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Lion Sam Farrow Amphitheater @ Lions Park

    Temple Parks and Leisure Services will conclude National Park and Recreation Month, with a free concert featuring The Debonaires! The concert will take place this Thursday evening, July 31st at the Lion Sam Farrow Amphitheater in Lions Park (4320 Lions Park Rd) from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Debonaires, a local favorite in Central Texas, are a staple at dancehalls and honkey tonks all over the state. For over thirty years, the band has been playing the country music circuit and performing original music, as well as covers from best artists in country music today. The band will feature a great selection from all-time favorites such as George Strait, Blake Shelton, Merle Haggard and Garth Brooks.
