Summer is still a few months away, but you can start planning your summer activities with Temple Parks & Leisure Services at one of the outdoor swimming pools or the water park. Walker Pool, Clark Pool, Summit Pool, and Lions Junction Water Park are now accepting rental reservations for this summer.

“Dates are booked quickly for birthdays, company retreats, and other special events and get-togethers,” said Aquatics Coordinator Keith Dawson. “We encourage people to call as soon as they know what date they will need so we can make their reservation at their preferred location.”

Clark and Walker Pools open weekends only June 1 and full time starting June 8. Lions Junction Water Park opens weekends only May 25 and full time starting June 10. The Summit Swimming Pool opens weekends only May 18 and full time starting June 3. Summit membership is not required for pool rentals, but is required for regular hour pool use. Summer memberships are available.

“We have been working during the off-season to make our pools and water park even better! At Lions Junction, we have installed a new sound system with speakers throughout the park so you can listen to music while you swim,” said Dawson. “We have also made several other small additions and improvements for our guests such as increasing the amount of lounge chairs to accommodate more guests and souvenir cups that can be used for discount soft drinks all summer.”
