City of Temple Offices Closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27th– 28th; Solid Waste and Recycling

City of Temple offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27th and 28th, in observation of Thanksgiving. Offices will reopen on Monday, December 1nd, 2014. Emergency services will operate without interruption.

City of Temple Names City Manager

At a special called City Council meeting this morning, the Temple City Council named Jonathan Graham to serve as City Manager in a permanent capacity. Mr. Graham has served as the interim City Manager since the retirement of David Blackburn last August.

City Council Appoints City Attorney

At a special called City Council meeting this morning, the Temple City Council appointed Mrs. Kayla Landeros to serve as City Attorney in a permanent capacity. Mrs. Landeros has served as the interim City Attorney since August.

City Announces Purchase of Asphalt Recycling Machine

Temple Airport Completes Largest Construction Project in Airport History

This past week, Temple’s Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport completed construction on the largest project in Airport History. The $8 Million dollar project has reconstructed the airport’s secondary runway 02/20.
