City Manager presents preliminary FY 2017 Budget to City Council

Today, the City Manager, Jonathan Graham, filed the Preliminary 2016-2017 Fiscal Year Budget for the City.

Budget Overview
The FY 2017 Budget, which runs from October 1, 2016, through September 30, 2017, is a balanced budget that totals $143,359,681.

UPDATE: Kegley Road is now open to thru traffic.

The bridge at the 2300 block of South Kegley Road (where Bird Creek crosses Kegley Road, approximately half a mile north of the intersection of Charter Oaks and Kegley).

Bend O’ the River Botanic Garden Master Planning Begins

On March 4th, the City Council approved a resolution authorizing the execution of an agreement with SWA Group, Houston, Texas, to develop a master plan for a botanic garden on the site of a 30 acre tract donated by the Talasek family to the City in 2011.
