City of Temple Announces Temporary Road Closure on Prairie View Road

Prairie View Road from N. Pea Ridge Road to Westfield Boulevard will be closed to thru traffic beginning June 22, 2015 for reconstruction and widening of the road. Please forward inquiries to the City of Temple Engineering Department at 254-298-5660.

Brush Fees Suspended Due to Recent Storms

Out of cycle and over the limit brush fees will be suspended throughout the month of June. This should allow homeowners the opportunity to clean up their properties without additional charges due to winds associated with the recent storms.

Temple Residents Vote in Favor of $27.6M Parks Bond

Temporary Closure of portion of Avenue R in TMED Zone

Ave R, just east of SW West Loop continuing through the intersections of 25th Street and 19th St, will be closed to allow for the reconstruction of the road to include road widening and dedicated right and left turn lanes at the 25th Street intersection.

I-35 Northbound Exit #300/57th Street to close until late Summer 2015

Starting March 17, at 7 pm, the northbound exit ramp, Exit #300/57th St., will be closed until late Summer 2015. The contractor will be shifting mainlane I-35 traffic and northbound frontage road traffic.
