SAMMONS GOLF LINKS ENJOYS BUSY SUMMER, PREPARING FOR IMPROVEMENTS
As part of the 2007 Parks Bond election, $350,000 of funding was identified for improvements to the golf course. The city is now in the planning phase of those improvements, which will start just after the New Year in 2011.

NEW PARKING MAKES PEPPER CREEK TRAIL MORE ACCESSIBLE
To help accommodate trail users, Parks & Leisure Services has recently added trail parking at the Scott & White West Campus off Kegley Road, between FM 2305 and Airport Rd (State Highway 53).

CLARK POOL OPENS THANKS TO COMMUNITY SUPPORT
Saturday, July 17, residents in the East Temple area will welcome back a summer icon. After being closed due to budget cuts, the Maxine Rae Clark Swimming Pool in Wilson Park will return to operation.
