Letters Received by Temple Citizens Not Affiliated with City Program

The City of Temple has been advised that several citizens in the Temple area may have recently received a flyer or door hangar from an individual stating that he will be in their neighborhoods to repaint the address numbers on the curbs at their homes.

City of Temple Announces NW Loop 363 Traffic Switch

On Saturday, September 27th, James Construction, the City’s roadway contractor, will be switching NW Loop 363 traffic from the current lanes to the newly constructed lanes between IH 35 North and FM 2305/Adams Avenue.

City Council Names Interim City Manager

The City Council has named Jonathan Graham to serve as Interim City Manager effective August 29th to fill a position vacated by the retirement of David Blackburn. Mr. Graham currently holds the title of City Attorney.

Library Receives Grant from Texas State Library and Archives Commission

The Temple Public Library has been awarded a $5,000 grant to purchase equipment and supplies that support the improvement of public access technology within the library.

Temple Airport Completes Largest Construction Project in Airport History

This past week, Temple’s Draughon-Miller Central Texas Regional Airport completed construction on the largest project in Airport History. The $8 Million dollar project has reconstructed the airport’s secondary runway 02/20.
