  1. Trains that Passed in the Night: The Photographs of O. Winston Link

    June 5, 10:00 AM - August 26, 4:00 PM @ Railroad and Heritage Museum

    This summer, the Railroad and Heritage Museum will host a new temporary exhibit entitled, Trains that Passed in the Night: The Photographs of O. Winston Link. The exhibit, on display from June 5th – August 26th, showcases 36 original prints from famed photographer O. Winston Link (1914-2011), who documented the end of the steam era on American railroads.

    Pre-movie activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with the movie starting at sunset. Movies in the Park is free and open to the public. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs, blankets and snacks. Concessions will be available for purchase.

  12. Suzanna Choffel LIVE in Concert

    July 18, 7:30 PM @ Cultural Activities Center

    Susanna Choffel has an unique sound that mixes R&B, reggae, pop, and jazz. She’s “equal parts Beat poetry, smoky soul grooves and indie-pop eccentricity.” She’s “graceful” and yet, as Rolling Stone asserts, possessing “all the vibe in the world.” Her first album, Shudders & Rings, won accolades. Choffel landed a spot on NBC’s popular primetime singing competition The Voice in 2012, wowing the judges and earning singular praise from Rolling Stone as “the only artist you’d want to listen to a complete album from.”
