On Saturday January 25, 2014 at 7:30 PM the Temple Symphony will present a Benefit Recital at Mary Alice Marshall Performing Arts Center at Temple College. Featured artists will be Metropolitan Opera Dramatic Baritone Robert McFarland, Temple College Soprano Teri Johnson, and University of Mary Hardin Baylor Soprano Penny Hogan & Bass George Hogan. The singers will be accompanied by Temple College Pianist Li-Ping Wu. The Orchestra will not play. The program will include a number of operatic and popular works. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students (with ID). The Benefit Reception will be at the Chinese Mansion at 1302 N. 11th St. in Temple immediately after the Recital.
